Michelle Stark Promoted to Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Red Sage
Michelle Stark has been promoted to Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Red Sage, a full-service integrated public relations, marketing, and website development agency, with offices in Huntsville and Decatur, Alabama. Red Sage Communications, Inc. was named one of the state’s Top 20 Advertising Agencies in Business Alabama’s 2020 Top Rank Magazine.

Michelle has served as Red Sage’s Marketing Director since October of 2017, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives for the agency. She has also provided high-level strategy and creative direction for accounts and campaigns, while managing the agency’s Specialists and Coordinators. She has contributed to American Advertising Award-winning projects and is respected as a crisis communications and public relations expert.

Before joining Red Sage, Michelle worked as an Emmy® Award-Winning television broadcast news anchor and journalist at ABC and CBS affiliates for more than a decade, including WHNT News 19 in Huntsville, Alabama. Having spent 10 years as a technology reporter, Michelle has special expertise in both industry and consumer technology trends, as well as digital communications and new media. She holds a B.A. in International Relations from Michigan State University.
As a community-focused leader, Michelle serves as a mentor for HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology’s Navigate Mentorship Program. Modeled after MIT’s Venture Mentoring Service Program, Navigate matches entrepreneurs with teams of c-suite executives, experienced entrepreneurs and subject matter experts from North Alabama, to provide confidential and conflict-free advice. Michelle also serves as Vice President of Programs for the North Alabama Chapter of the Public Relations Council of Alabama. She is a graduate of Leadership Greater Huntsville’s (Class 10) Management Academy.
